Loan Periods

All books (except reference materials) may be checked out for 3 weeks.
All other items may be checked out for 1 week.

Renewals

All Onalaska Public Library materials may be renewed up to two (2) times. Renew materials by computer, by phone (936) 646-2665, or in person. If another cardholder has requested the title, or if the item is overdue, the title cannot be renewed. Interlibrary Loan materials generally may not be renewed. Be sure to check all family cards when renewing.

Overdue Fines and Fees

The library charges 20¢ per item, per day, for all overdue materials. The maximum fine is equal to the price of the item. There is a 3-day grace period which should enable you to return your items without incurring overdue charges. Cardholders may not use their library card to check out materials if fines exceed $1. Payment arrangements may be made with the Library Director.
