TexShare Cards

Lending Policies:

Eligibility policy:
TexShare patrons are eligible to receive a temporary card from the City of Onalaska Public Library, upon presentation of a current TexShare card and a photo ID with a current mailing address. 
They will be required to fill out an online registration form.  TexShare patrons under the age of seventeen will be required to have the registration card signed by a parent or legal guardian   
TexShare cards will be issued on a case-by-case basis to registered patrons of the City of Onalaska Public Library.   
Patrons who have a checkout history of at least six months, without a history of over dues, fines, or damages, may be eligible to receive a TexShare card. 

Using a TexShare card:

Issuing policy:
Privileges are granted and TexShare cards are issued during regular hours of operations, up to the last hour of the day. Temporary cards issued to TexShare patrons are good for three months. TexShare cards issued to local patrons will be good for one year. 

Loan policy:
TexShare patrons are limited to three (3) books only for three weeks (21 days.) Other materials are not available.  Interlibrary Loans are not available to TexShare patrons. Overdue books or outstanding fines of $1.00 or more will result in the suspension of privileges until the matter is resolved.
